Of Mice and Men May 26, 2010 Mrs. L. Birtwistle (Lancashire) This study guide is excellent and as in all cgp material is child/teenage friendly and makes studying that bit more fun!
Of Mice and Men May 6, 2010 A. Murray (Italy) It's an easy to follow book, but maybe the authors focused solely on the "visual" style of leaners, there are too many pictures and colours and sometimes finding the text itself can be hard. Apart from that it suitable for a GCSE level.
GCSE English An Inspector Calls October 30, 2009 H. Kumar (Manchester UK) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I ordered this book for my 15 year old daughter who is revising for her English GCSE in May 2010.
It is extremely well written and full of revision facts about the titled book.
It has helped her a great deal as the book is written in an easy to understand format. It gives lots of answers and discussions to possible exam questions.
I (and my daughter) would definitely recommend it to anyone studying this book to GCSE level.
CGP Study Guide 'Of Mice and Men' GCSE English July 13, 2009 G. Butterfield (Middlesbrough, England) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This is the tabloid version of the study guide:- easy words; almost-funny jokes; colourful pics; summary that gets you out of actually reading the book; themes; characters; full index; exam tips; ditsy little cartoons (which, neverthleless provide a wealth of relevant quotes!)everything the bone-idle student could ever wish for to gain a decent grade at GCSE level. Highly recommended by Daz, Biffa and Puddenhead in my class.

Wrong curriculum! June 7, 2009 H. Platzer (UK) 3 out of 5 found this review helpful
AQA exam board have 2 different English Language and Literature programmes (A and B). This material is for English A - there seems to be no revision support for English B which my son was taking so check before you buy.
