5 out of 5 stars They say never judge a book by its cover...   July 23, 2010

I must admit I only bought this book because I liked the cover and I'm so glad I did. Although this book is aimed at the teenage girl market I'm in my 20's and still thoroughly enjoyed it!! The end of every chapter left me wanting so much more and I cannot wait for Torment to come out in September. I think a lot of people will try to compare this series to the Twilight saga, and while it is true that a lot of people who liked Twilight will also like Fallen, I feel this could also appeal to those who don't. It's equally as good a Twilight, but in its own, very different ways. A definite must have!!

1 out of 5 stars Now i like books but....   July 23, 2010

So I got this book a while ago as a proof copy (I work in a bookshop) and I took it away on holiday thinking it sounded good. Well, I have to say it is one of the worst books I've ever read. It was poorly written and to me seemed like a carbon copy of all other fantasy type teen novels. I couldn't even make it half way through. And it made me cringe.
I would strongly suggest you try something worth while. From reading plenty of other books I can suggest something such as Beautiful Creatures by Kami Garcia and Margaret Stohl. It is well written and has a gripping story, unlike Fallen.
Very disappointed if I am honest.

4 out of 5 stars hush hush or fallen?   July 20, 2010
Tammy (London)
I've been reading both hush hush by Becca Fitzpatrick and Fallen and I have to say i like then both however I do enjoy Hush' more. Thats not to say I wont be picking up Torment, but I am a little worried that it wont live up to the bar set by hush.

4 out of 5 stars 50%50   July 15, 2010
Jose Luis Fernandez Garcia (spain)
Okay, I bought this book because of the beautiful cover and then I started reading it and really liked it. The problem came at the end, it all started to get a bit stupid and when she's finally got the boy its a bit too boring. The end was okay but the thing of nearly everyone in the school being an angel I found quite stupid, I mean, one or two okay, but it was nearly every single character, it spoiled it for me. But in general, it was good and will read Torment!

3 out of 5 stars Nothing original   July 15, 2010
Boof (United Kingdom)
There has been such a flux of these types of book recently that they are all starting to blend into one now.

I found this one to be a little predictable with not enough forward momentum. If you are lookin for a book about fallen angels then Becca Fitzpatrick's Hush Hush was a really great, fast-paced book in my opinion.

OK but not great.
