A fantastic and must have book for anyone like me, awaiting the arrival of a puppy. all other books are about correcting behavior where as this is about getting it right from day one - gentle correction and guidence tips! Brilliant!

This book should be compulsory reading for anyone thinking about breeding a puppy or purchasing a puppy. Its very informative and will maybe make people think twice about ruining a dogs life by making mistakes early on by buying a cute bundle of fluff on a whim. As always Cesar millan has done a very good job.

As always another informative, humorous book from Cesar. Easy to read and you can just pick it up and put it down without losing the thread. Reading about his methods reinforces what's discussed on his TV series.
A must for everyone with a puppy or young dog.

I purchased this book for my daughter who has an 11 year old lab and will be getting a German Shepherd pup at the end of May. She has found this book to be extremely helpful even though she has owned dogs for some 15 years and would recommend it to anyone who is either thinking of getting their first dog or, like her, "mixing" both different breed of dog and age difference.
