These books have been a great series to keep my 8yr old reading by himself, which is difficult when there are so many other options which easily distract 8yr olds from books.

My son is 9 years old and loves the Wimpy Kid series. He reads them from cover to cover in one sitting because they are an easy read and he thinks the stories are so funny.

I bought the first 3 books in the series for my 10-year old as Christmas pressies. He loved them. This is the 4th book and he devoured it in a day! If your child loves the Horrid Henry books, they'll go for this.

At last something that has really got my boys reading. This is the 4th book in the series and they have devoured all 4! They are very silly and a bit American in places but actually very funny, even more so if you are 10. I hope there are more coming soon as I love to see my children reading so avidly and enjoying a book so much they actually laugh out loud and have to read you bits. I have recommended these books to friends with boys and they have also been delighted to see them reading!
