Product Description It's the last Friday before the winter holidays but Percy Jackson isn't at school: he's battling the fearsome Manticore (half human, half lion), which in itself isn't ideal ...but with Annabeth missing and the goddess of the hunt held captive, things get a whole lot more serious. This book is suitable for fans of 'Harry Potter and Artemis Fowl'.

Half Boy, Half God ALL HERO July 27, 2010 Linn Connie Jensen (Norway) Gooo Percy Jacson!
I highly recomend this book to anyone who has the sligthes intrest in Greek mythology, and likes fantasy books. The apropriate age setting for these books says 10-15y but I recond its for all ages.
The story about Percy Jacson is thirilling and addictive.
Percy Jackson & the Titan's curse July 21, 2010 Mrs. Joanna Foss (UK) I got this book for my son, as he loved the first book of this series (Percy Jackson and the Lightning Thief). It's a great read for a 10 year old (he asked for more!). The best price as well, as I compared it with other bookshops.
Fresh air for the greek myths! May 1, 2010 A. Hamilton (Scotland) This series of books from Rick Riordan is really brilliant. It brings the classic back to life with a fresh breath of wind. I am a school librarian and the children love this series and I also have seriously enjoyed such riveting reads.
good wholesome family read April 4, 2010 D. M. Barber (Hull, UK) My wife and I have read the entire series of the percy Jackson books now and really enjoyed them, after reading a lot of crime/thriller books written for adults it was such a refreshing change to have something gripping and entertaining without all the gore and woe of books aimed at adults. There is enough wit and depth to make the books enjoyable for adults, and enough cool action for kids.
Definitely recommended. (unlike the first film of the series, the lightning thief which is so far from the book it is a stretch to give it the same name) Percy Jackson and the Lightning Thief, Percy Jackson and the Sea of Monsters, Percy Jackson and the Titan's Curse, Percy Jackson and the Battle of the Labyrinth, Percy Jackson and the Last Olympian
Worthy successor to Harry Potter March 22, 2010 Xena (Edinburgh, Scotland) A good read, children will love these books and using Greek Mythology is a stroke of genius as it is an informative and enjoyable way to learn. I also didn't realise how many Greek Gods and lesser Gods there were.
