good September 9, 2010 lucyemmamama if you get time to read this when both kids are toddlers then you're doing a great job with feeding, bathing and bedtime routines, well done. an interesting book +++
Very helpful but take some of it with a pinch of salt July 16, 2010 Ms. Ac Armstrong-wilson (dorset, UK) Love and hate Gina Ford - but annoyingly she is usually right. I found this book very helpful but i think you have to read it and decide for yourself what is sensible for your own particular and individual child.
Good but not as good as the contented little baby book July 3, 2010 Mrs. X. Li (Stockport, England) My baby was 13 months when I bought this book. Because Gina's Contented little baby series gave me a lot of help so I assumed this one would do the same. But the information was very limited. I was kind of disappointed. I had a lot of questions I wanted to find answers here, like, what if my baby doesn't want to eat lumpy food, what if my baby can not feed herself well, should I let her eat alone or what should I do, etc. I can't really find the answers I want. For toddlers, this book is probably not as necessary as the baby series.
Very interesting read January 9, 2010 Beth (West Sussex, England) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Although I am not a complete follower of Gina Ford I do find her books very interesting and there are always certain ideas that you can adopt in your own way to suit your child. It is also reassuring to read other peoples accounts of their experiences with their children as it provides invaluable experience to help with your own. Definitely worth buying as offers practical advice and you take from it what you choose.
Brilliant advice has led to one happy little toddler! January 5, 2010 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I love all the Gina Ford books and this is book no exception. The routines work a treat. Also the advice on play, meals and sleep patterns have turned my toddler into one happy little bunny. In fact, other people have also noticed and I get lots of comments about how happy my 13 month old daughter is. I would definitely recommend this book to anyone who is at their wits end with their little one!
